Overview

This course involves the skills and knowledge required to ensure the safety of transport activities.

It includes identifying features and applying chain of responsibility obligation in the Heavy Vehicle National law (HVNL) or applicable state/territory law and regulations.  It also includes identifying and reporting chain of responsibility risks.

Transport activities as defined by the HVNL or applicable state/territory law and regulations.

Work is performed under close direction, generally within a team environment.

Students will need to have sound English language, literacy and numeracy skills in order to complete the course and assessments.

Students have a right to appeal any assessment decision. In the event of a student wanting to make a complaint or appeal they will need to complete the Assessment Complaints and Appeals Recording Form. Students can obtain a hard copy of the Assessment Complaints and Appeals Recording Form the front reception or requesting it via email.

In the event that TISC was unable to complete the delivery of any of the course, a full refund would be issued to all enrolled students.

As part of TISC’s obligation to the learner, we will ensure that all training is compliant with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) 2015. On successful completion of this course, all students will receive a statement of attainment which satisfies the requirements of the Vocational Education and Training Quality Framework.

Cancellations made up to one week (7 days) prior to this course commencing will receive a full refund. Any cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for any refund.
