Fleet Driver Safety Program
This is a non-accredited course and therefore not nationally recognised.
The Fleet Safety Driving Program aims to enhance the safety of employees who operate company vehicles, reduce vehicle-related incidents, and protect company assets. It establishes a structured approach to driver training, vehicle maintenance, incident reporting, and continuous improvement.

Our standard one day program runs from from 8:30am – 4:00pm, however we can tailor our courses to your needs.
- Driver attitude and behaviour
- Vehicle roadworthiness and inspection
- Posture and steering
- Emergency braking and collision avoidance
- Reversing and manoeuvring
- Road Law understanding
- Road craft and low risk driving.
- On-road driving
- Driver appraisal and report
Participants will be able to:
- Identify key risk factors affecting fleet drivers
- Apply advanced observation and defensive driving strategies
- Conduct safe pre-start inspections and use fleet vehicles correctly
- Demonstrate efficient driving to reduce costs and emissions
- Understand legal obligations, fatigue, and distraction risks
- Represent their organisation with professionalism on the road
All students must:
- Create a user profile in our learner management system, fill in the required personal and emergency related information, and upload a copy of your driver licence.
- Complete any pre-course e-learning modules.
- Hold and present a current driver licence on the day (Probationary licence is acceptable).
- One form of photo ID eg. Driver licence.
- Your registered and roadworthy company vehicle (Please remove all loose items from inside your car and storage boot).
- Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for the expected weather.
- Additional items depending on the weather such as a hat, sunscreen or rain jacket as part of the training is conducted outside.
Client to bring their own registered and roadworthy company vehicle.
We have a duty of care to the participant and the client for their operational safety. Drivers will have their performance appraised against the learning outcomes of the course. If a participant is unable to meet the learning outcomes expected, we would advise the participant and the employer and offer our recommendation for additional training.
Any cancellations made less than 7 days prior to this course commencing will not be eligible for a refund. Failure to attend training on the day will also not result in a refund.
We at located at 441 Sutton Road, Majura ACT. Our training facilities are located on the left side of the road, approximately 900m from the Sutton Rd/Pialligo Ave intersection. There is ample free onsite parking for students.
